Great Value, Cozy Spotsubmitted by Kimberley A. - |Recommended: YesI honestly love my 1 bedroom apartment at Campus Walk. I'm not one to live with roommates and for the price you can't get a better deal around town. Staff is kind, and Ms.Tonya is very easy to reach via email.

An older complex but it is quiet and well-kept.submitted by KaMariah L. - |Recommended: YesOnce you get through the hassle and chaos of moving in, it's a pretty decent place to live. They are older apartments so they'll need a good cleaning and some TLC aka decor . I have had no issues with management. Things are fixed in a timely manner. Staff is friendly and communication has definitely improved since Caliber Living bought the complex. I'd recommend it to my friends.
Good place to live, management can be a challenge though.submitted by Jason S. - |Recommended: YesBeen here for several years, and while dated, the apartments are decent and well priced assuming you can get in at a good time . Management companies change quite frequently so that can be confusing, and the mixed signals can get difficult at times. For example for a while now we've been told that the complex will be torn down and rebuilt, however there was still a major push for lease renewals and a severe lack of information regarding the impending tear down. Even when asked many of the people who work the offices knowledgeable and nice don't seem to know themselves. That coupled with the lack of preventative measures on the various services laundry room, pool, etc lead to them being used by non-residents and have often lead to damage of said facilities. My only issue with my time at campus walk have been these management based decisions, the lack of transparency, the lack of prevention in favor fixing a problem afterwards, the frequent change in policy due to different management companies. The people who work the office are great, knowledgeable and kind, and indeed often times they are as much a victim of the lack of transparency and the questionable management calls that we the residents are. This lack of willingness to participate in prevention is one of my bigger concerns, there are several buildings that are especially vulnerable to being targeted criminally theft, trespass, vandalism and each time something has happened, I've seen no changes take place beyond the occasional letter warning us AFTER something happened, and nothing tangible done to prevent it from happening again. Things like the easier to access buildings having units broken into, the laundry room being vandalized, sometimes shutting it down for days-weeks while it is repaired, or non-residents trespassing around the pool and other facilities. In short the apartments are fine, if a bit dated, the proximity to UWG campus can't be beat, and prices are quite good. The people who work the office are quite kind and knowledgeable, and will do quite a lot for you. There are frequent events with giveaways and free food along with other prizes I've had a few times where my rent was reduced for the next month . The management system can be a bit difficult however, especially as it is, seemingly, constantly in flux. The individuals you will meet management wise aren't the issue however as often times they are just as in the dark as we are. It is in the decisions of those you won't meet where the issues arise. Decisions are made based on bottom line rather than what is best for the residents.
